About us
Caroline Duffy - MIACP Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist
Msc.Adol. Psych., Prof. Dip. Couns. Psych., Cert in Addict. Studies.
Humanistic, Integrative therapist drawing on person centered, psycho-dynamic (exploring childhood issues),
CBT & mindfulness techniques.
“I trained in Humanistic Counselling working in community based settings. Working from a Person Centered based approach to therapy, I adapt how I work to meet your individual needs. My philosophy is that every person should hold the power to decide what way they want to be in their world. They are the expert on themselves. Coming to counselling can be daunting and opening up to a complete stranger can feel overwhelming. My way of being in the room is based on openness and warmth without judgment, which I feel promotes trust and safety. My aim is to create a comfortable safe space to support you in exploring who you are, what is or isn’t working for you, what it means to be you. My involvement is through listening, offering a different perspective, opening up awareness to choice and with choice brings possibility. I work with a variety of issues to include Trauma, Bereavement, Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Relationship difficulties”

Mairead Flanagan MIACP
I'm an IACP accredited psychotherapist and counsellor. I hold a Dip in Humanistic Counselling and I have completed a MSc in adolescent Psychotherapy. My curiosity about people how they work and why we do the things we do led me firstly to study Bio Energy Therapy and then psychotherapy. I work from a personal centred, Humanistic approach, which means that I help and support you work through your own problems, rather than give you answers. I continue to be in awe of the people I have had the privilege of working with in the counselling room. And our resilience and capacity to heal.
How I can help you
I provide clients with a warm, safe, non-judgemental space to be heard. Together we will explore, clarify and understand what’s happening in your world and together work on finding solutions which allow for repair and healing to happen. When we understand ourselves, it brings greater clarity and understanding to our relationships both personal relationships and work relationships.
Clare Redmond – Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist - MIACP
Msc. Adolescent Psych., Diploma in Humanistic Counselling
I offer a fully empathic and understanding approach in humanistic therapy along with introducing other approaches based on your needs. This means I can offer an avenue for you to explore areas in your life that are giving you cause for concern in a safe and understanding environment. I work with clients with a variety of issues including abuse, anxiety, health related issues, sexual orientation to name a few.
I believe that no two people are the same and that different issues affect different people in different ways. There are no trivial issues. Anything that has a negative impact on your life has a right to be heard and I offer you that opportunity.
My belief is that therapy works because of the benefits gained within the relationship between you and the counsellor. This allows you to feel safe and accepted knowing you won’t be judged, misunderstood or ignored.
I can’t take the first step for you but I can walk with you on your journey.
